Seminar
by John Zachman, originator of the Zachman Framework This
seminar provides you a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the Zachman
Enterprise Architecture Framework directly from the man who invented it.
Architecture
is fast becoming a mainstream issue. Clinger & Cohen, and Sarbanes
Oxley, together with many other factors have made the need for transparent
(and existence of) architecture. The
Zachman Framework is a neutral framework that has been used as a framework of
reference for many the major architectures. A search on the US government
website shows that it is the Framework of reference used for Federal
Architecture Framework, with subsets, or variations used at department level
frameworks. As
such it is useful to know its underlying concepts and the way that it should be
interpreted and the strategies to both develop it (when necessary) and to map
another framework to it. It has
been often referred to as the periodic table of enterprises. For Both IT Professional and non-IT Professional. Policy makers, Decision support staff, Financial, Audit, Governance professional, it is all the more relevant because the Zachman Framework for Enterprise applies to the entire enterprise. It maps from the business objectives all the way down to the technology architecture, making it an excellent tool for traceability of accountability. You
