the PRINCE2 manual, case study and templates, it can also form an important part
of a corporate roll out of PRINCE2.
The PRINCE2 Foundation course is an on-line and Multimedia CD-ROM based training
course in the basics of the PRINCE2 project management method. Using voice and
animation, interaction and activities it delivers the equivalent of a two-day
classroom course, in an easy to use and convenient format - allowing learning at
a time and place to suit each student.

What Does It Contain?
The main body of the course
consists of six lessons, which cover an introduction to the method and its basic
concepts, and then goes through each of the Processes, Components and
Techniques, which make up the method.
An online simulation of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam tests your knowledge as per
the actual exam. Similar and previous questions help you to ensure you
understand what PRINCE2 is, and a pass rate of 70-80% on our exam ensures you
will pass the actual paper based PRINCE2 Foundation exam.
Other facilities and features include a PRINCE2 case study - allowing you to
walk through the practical issues involved in setting up and running a PRINCE2
project, with copies of the actual documents used. Also included is a
bibliography, FAQ database, and a keyword and module index to the whole course.
The Objectives
One of the principle
objectives of the course is to take students to the level of knowledge and
understanding sufficient for them to pass the PRINCE2 Foundation (Part 1)
examination. The course includes an excellent randomised simulation of the exam,
following the same structure and timing, allowing students to assess their own
capability prior to taking the formal examination.
Minimum Requirements
The course can be run from
CD-ROM, Network or Intranet, subject to bandwidth with any 32bit Windows
operating system, fitted with a sound card and speakers, and a SVGA graphics
card set at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 is also required.
